Spotlight on Storage & Transportation: Rein Makes Its Voice Heard
Accelerating global energy transition and hydrogen industry development, the three-day 2025 International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle Conference & Exhibition (FCVC 2025) successfully concluded at Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center from June 18 to 20. As a premier industry event gathering cutting-edge hydrogen technologies and solutions worldwide, Zhejiang Rein—a key member of Shenergy’s hydrogen industry chain—showcased its independently developed hydrogen storage cylinder bundles and hydrogen tube trailer container series, demonstrating the company’s technical capabilities and innovations in hydrogen storage and transportation.
During the exhibition, Chen Fan, General Manager of Zhejiang Rein, stated at the booth opening: "Rein remains dedicated to storage and transportation innovation, advancing the industry with safe, efficient solutions. We are honored to present our latest innovations—products embodying countless R&D breakthroughs and patented technologies."
Frontier Products: Demonstrating Strength
Guided by China’s "Dual Carbon" goals, hydrogen as a clean energy carrier requires breakthroughs in storage and transportation for industrial scaling. Leveraging over a decade of technical expertise, Zhejiang Rein launched China’s first 45MPa/90MPa hydrogen storage cylinder bundles, filling a domestic gap in high-pressure hydrogen equipment. These products offer flexibility, safety, efficiency, rapid delivery, and easy maintenance, serving hydrogen refueling stations, green hydrogen projects, hydrogen storage, and metallurgy applications with customizable solutions.
Addressing industry challenges in hydrogen transportation, Rein exhibited all-steel hydrogen tube trailer containers (Type I) and carbon fiber-wound hydrogen tube trailer containers (Type II). Type I prioritizes safety, reliability, and lower lifecycle costs while enhancing gas filling efficiency. Type II employs lightweight carbon fiber, achieving 38.7m³ (20MPa) and 31m³ (30MPa) water volumes—increasing filling efficiency by 47% and 70% respectively over traditional Type I containers—making them ideal for large-capacity, long-distance transport. The 30MPa carbon fiber-wound container was physically displayed outdoors, attracting significant professional attention.
Zhejiang Rein upholds "Quality, Innovation, Integrity, Service" as its core philosophy, providing global clients with storage and transportation solutions for hydrogen, natural gas, electronic specialty gases, rare gases, and other industrial gases. This exhibition not only highlighted Rein’s leading capabilities in high-pressure hydrogen storage and transportation but also reinforced its pivotal role in Shenergy Group’s "Three Vertical & Three Horizontal" hydrogen strategy.
